Very much a staple in Chinese cuisine these wonderful little pods are nothing short of a delicious heirloom from the Sichuan region .

So called as, unusually for a chilli, they grow with their pods pointing skywards (as if to ‘touch the sky/facing heaven’)

Plants will grow to 1.5 m and bear mild fruits of 5~10,000 shu
