This rare Bhutanese cucumber thrives in cooler climates but will also tolerate heat and humidity so it’s a good all rounder for all regions.
When the fruit is young and green it can be treated as a regular cucumber and eaten as is or pickled and made into chutney. When it reaches full maturity the flesh is similar to melon and traditionally cooked in Bhutan.
